Music Control for iTunes, Spotify, Rdio and Personalized Internet Radio App Reviews

Works quite well, I have had a few crashes, though. The design is nice, the search function could need a bit more attention as it only displays album covers but no titles and searches by artist only. But good start and the price is fair.

This is a huge memory hog and completely disables my operating system. Support is not existant. Avoid until a better update comes along.

I have installed, uninstalled reinstalled, set up with rdio ,itunes and pandora credentials multimple times. And followed all the steps as outlined on the website including the troubleshooting steps. Only thing that works is iTunes. Will change my review if it works. In the meantime, I have uninstalled and asked for my money back.

the app clearly says it supports rdio and after install nothing… no info for rdio. There is only pandora , last.fm and facebook options...

as far i tested i can just pause or play the current song on the remote itunes mac …oo ..i can go next/back :) but i dont get any search results from the remote itunes lib…. the album cover appears for a sec then dissapears … so far not well invested mony :).. hope for a update soon …

This app keeps getting better! Very easy to use, and adding Rdio support makes it easier than ever to manage my music. I love having the ability to search all my music sources at once!

This app isnt terrible, but it is not good either. It works, kind of. I cant use the arrow keys on my keyboard to go to the next song. I have a pretty beefed up macbook pro (8 GB RAM) and the framerate of the scroll tab is awful, to the point the point I dont want to look at it. It is also rather buggy. I would suggest 1) universal shortcut to open and close 2) when an album is open, dont put it in my menu bar. I like many people are paticular with what is in the menu bar, and I dont like miniature album covers there. 3) Give the user some access to preferences to you can turn some of these things I am talking about on or off. As of right now, you cant set any preferences. 4) either make scrool in/out optionable or get rid of it, it looks terrible. 5) pandora.

The idea is good. But the app is still far from being really useful. Many bugs, unexpected shutdowns, does not have access to a global shortcut, it would be interesting to have a preview of upcoming music … By using Rdio, the album cover does not update, but this is a bug already known to the official app Rdio. Im hoping that the developer launch new versions with new features and improvements.

Was looking forward to this app. Wanted to control iTunes on my Mac Mini from my iMac. No such luck. Run 10.6 on my Mini, 10.7 on my iMac. ARD works fine, Screen sharing works fine….see no reason why this shouldnt work. Enabled Universal Access and Remote Apple Events on the Mini. The App still cant find my Mac Mini. Emailed Tech Support, got a quick reply, but no added hints or suggestions. Told me they would get back to me. Its been three weeks…….

The Pandora controlls could use a little work. Once I select a "radio", the radio list disappears. I can get it back by selecting iTunes and going back to the pandora menu. Other than that hiccup, the app works pretty well. I cant think of any other problems.

Feb. 29, 2012, 2 stars Its currently not playing searched music from my iTunes library unless I play the song from my iTunes first which, of course, defeats the purpose of being called a music controller. Major issue aside, switching between apps is quick but theres a slight hangtime at times when searching for artists (colorwheel pops up). Being able to see your Pandora stations is pretty neat, but Im not sure how it ties in with the search. For example, I searched for Little Dragon and it will give the option to either launch their albums in iTunes (if I own it) and Rdio, but it wont give the option to launch the Little Dragon station that Ive already created in Pandora. Youll have to be within the Pandora tab and do the search again which isnt a hassle, it just seems awkward and doesnt feel like a full search across all of the apps. Interface is decent, but there was a huge gap that sits between searched albums and the menu bar which Im pretty sure is a bug and not bad judgement in design. I find that restarting the app solved this issue temporarily. Personally, I would wait until all of the kinks are worked out before purchasing this app especially for a $5 price tag. I left a post in their support forum, and will change my rating once the major kinks get resolved. Other than that, its an app I can definitely find useful once it works well.

doesnt open at login even after choosing that option.. many other bugs.. pls fix them and ADD airplay support (must have)!! holding 1 less star for that update :) thx

This app has all kinds of potential, but has far too many bugs. I use it for pandora, and Im constantly having trouble swintiching stations, getting it to load, getting it to keep playing, and getting it to play what I want. It seems to just have a mind of its own. Its handy to be able to control my music in my toolbar, but until the problems are fixed I will be going back to just using the Pandora site and iTunes!!

So far, this app has been stellar. A brilliant idea and a great music control UI (with good keyboard shortcut support). Im digging it.

I d-loaded this app about a month ago and have already been in several talks with the developers trying to get it to work right, Ive even sent them videos of the issues (upon their request) but it has constant issues. It stops working all the time and trying to change the channel in pandora only works half the time & doesnt work at all if theres an apostrophe in the name. Ive tried all the suggested fixes but nothing seems to work. I want to delete it so bad & if it was a free app I would have deleted it a long time ago, its only saving grace is that I paid $4.99 for it!!

Constantly crashes, Wont hook into my AirPlay, half the time the interface freezes, takes forever to load pandora. AVOID WASTING YOUR MONEY

Great idea, POOR implementation. Crashes ALL THE TIME. I would try other ones in store until the makers of this application fix bugs and crashes. Til then its useless

Great idea but too buggy. Quit all the time for no reason.

I used it mostly for pandora, and it doesnt really work well. The interface gets really buggy, sound cuts off randomly, and the thing crashes alot. I had to go with another product, and uninstall this.
